Here is a new clip from "Gotham, TX". This one involves two master criminals who have recently made off with a couple of stacks of scratch off lottery tickets. Those Dastards!

I over explain. I often over explain what I'm explaining with a four or five interruptions to spit out caveats, pre-qualifiers, and explanations to explain what I'm explaining. I try to head off every possible questions someone's going to have or to put to rest any misconception, doubt, or disagreement they may have about what I'm going to say before I say it.  I'm sort of doing that now. And it usually backfires. Because after I'm done, the poor listener has had to follow me down five different paths and they're understandably lost after I stop to take a breath. Then we start over and figure it out or, unfortunately, they're put off and don't care to understand by that point. Somewhere along the way, I learned to avoid the questions. Dirge Reviewed at Film Threat - http://www.filmthreat.com/reviews/44260/ It's kind of a big deal the first time someone you don't know, who has a good working knowledge of film and film criticism publicly gives their honest opinion about your work. Especially when it is really the first time you've had your work publicly and objectively reviewed. Don't get me wrong, I've gotten some very honest and thoughtful comments from friends and family. People who really explained what they enjoyed and how it affected them. But there's just something about that moment when you know you've been "reviewed" and you haven't yet read the review. It was uniquely thrilling and horrifying. My initial reaction? I want to throw up. My second reaction? I don't want to read it. It doesn't exist if I don't read it. My third reaction?
