From The Top Turnbuckle is proud to announce that our film, Dirge, is being used as the demo content for the newest release of CELTX. CELTX is the screenwriting and production software I have been using for the last few years and what both Proxy and Dirge were written on.

So, now when someone signs up for and uses CELTX's free software the see a link to watch Dirge and a demo project packed with the script for Dirge as well as Dirge based demo content for all of the other things CELTX can do. A very humble thanks to CELTX for their faith and their generosity.

CELTX also helped, via a grant from the CELTX Seeds program, bring Dirge to life. Couldn't and maybe wouldn't have done it without them.

So, on the heels of this release, we're also announcing that we have two new short films in the works. One will be a comedic mocumentary that John Mark Clawson and I are co-directing that has yet to be titled and a short western called Blood Guilt that I will be co-writing and co-directing with my very old friend, Jason Baumgardner. Blood Guilt with will be a co-production with Jason and our own FTTT Films.

We expect to shoot Blood Guilt sometime in July and the mocumentary is something we'll be shooting in pieces for the next several months.

And finally, on a related note but deserving of not only it's own paragraph and CAPITAL LETTERS to draw attention to itself...We will be launching a Kickstarter page for Blood Guilt very soon to raise the funds needed to bring this film to life. Soon you'll be able to read the first scene of the film and have a look at our plans for the short and see what perks you can sign up for at the various donation levels.

Stay tuned. 2011 was only the beginning for FTTT. You'll see more work from Aaron, Alison, Josh, Matt, John Mark and our other talented friend very soon and we hope you'll be a part of it.

Steve shakes his head, trying to clear it. Slowly, SOUND RETURNS...AND THE WORDS RING CLEAR: SAM WILSON (O.S.)  Cap. On your left. When we get back out there and walk into work and school and church or onto the playground or the basketball court or wherever else your community is -- it's gonna be like this isn't it? Hearing the crowd in this clip (below), I don't know what it was, and I struggled with telling anyone this but...I cried. Like --muffling my mouth with my hand so no one heard me and tears rolling down my checks -- cried. I don't know, man, I just cried. This scene makes me feel close to God and closer to all of you. There a handful of movie scenes that do this and this is one for sure. This scene is the communion of the saints. It’s salvation and redemption and running the race set before you. Dirge - Reviewed

Dirge Reviewed at Film Threat - http://www.filmthreat.com/reviews/44260/ It's kind of a big deal the first time someone you don't know, who has a good working knowledge of film and film criticism publicly gives their honest opinion about your work. Especially when it is really the first time you've had your work publicly and objectively reviewed. Don't get me wrong, I've gotten some very honest and thoughtful comments from friends and family. People who really explained what they enjoyed and how it affected them. But there's just something about that moment when you know you've been "reviewed" and you haven't yet read the review. It was uniquely thrilling and horrifying. My initial reaction? I want to throw up. My second reaction? I don't want to read it. It doesn't exist if I don't read it. My third reaction?
