New News for a New Year.

It's been quiet in the FTTT camp but a few e-mails, a handful of phone calls and lots of day dreaming are the key ingredients for generating some useful and welcome noise.

Of course, I'm premature and have a few exciting options I cannot discuss. Tease. I know.

However, I present for you, the following tidbits.

- We've launched a web store for Dirge and FTTT Merch. Be looking for more designs soon. Check it out on the right-------->

- Dirge and Proxy will be screening to the public in Fort Worth on Sunday, Feb 19th thanks to the Endevor Cinema Group. Endevor is a good group of film loving people bent on serving and assisting independent filmmakers in Texas. Click here for details.

- Dirge is now being submitted to five or six film festivals in the coming months. We hope to be hearing back on acceptance from these festivals in the next 5 or so months. There are festivals throughout the year so we'll keep you posted.

- We've maintained our relationship with the extraordinary folks over at CELTX and are discussing ways to continue working together in the near future. Hope to be telling you about one particular project soon.

- I'm on schedule (or a tad behind) (or ridiculously behind) (or some where in between) to turn in a script and pitch for a feature film I'm writing called, "Harold Goes Native" to the Fantasia Film Fest Film Market this year.

- We are in pre, pre, pre-production on an ongoing shoot through the course of this year for a short mocumentary about championship staring contests. Not sure if there really is such a thing, don't really want to know. Our untitled film is entirely fictional and based on an idea by Bob Elliott.

- Also planning two other shorts, a shoot in late March with my friend and co-worker, Jarrett Reece. Jarrett was the attacker who got shot in Dirge. Then my very close and oldest friend and collaborator on Night Job, Jason Baumgardner and I are working on a short western to raise funds for and shoot this summer called Blood Guilt.

That's it for now, anything you'd like to know? Fire away - ftttfilms@gmail.com
